Maya Koizumi

Maya Koizumi, born on July 2, 1988, in Tokyo, Japan, is a Japanese actress. She gained attention in 2007 by releasing her first photobook while still a high school student. She began her acting career by starring in the film Electronic Girl on September 12, 2009. In 2009, she appeared in Special Mission Woman Anna: Naruko Nino 2 - The Lost Love. In 2010, she starred in Reborn Girl and released her second photobook. In 2014, she co-starred with Jō Odagiri and Renji Ishibashi in the television drama Okawabata Detective Agency. In 2014, she was reported by Shukan Bunshun to be involved in an extramarital affair and a casting couch controversy, though the credibility of the report is questionable as the magazine has been involved in multiple instances of false reporting.
